What makes me fall in love with this novel is the plot of the story about losing and meeting someone. The story is kind of complicated. It has many characters that take big parts to complete the novel. The story is started with a woman named Julia comes to a house near a beach. It is a house of hers and her ex-husband. Her husband, Ken, died and she visits alone. She meets her new neighbour. He is Eric, a writer that used to be a doctor. Eric split up with his wife and she has a new man with her. It was one of the trilogy (MAN and BOY, MAN and WIFE, and One for My Baby). Generally it was telling us about how a man, Harry, handle a boy after splitting up with his woman, his wife named Gina. Then being fired from his job and met a woman randomly in a restaurant. She was Cyd. He saw her for a while and found out that she thought they had not the same ideas of being together. Cyd told him, Harry, that he was a romance. He wanted a perfect love which never happened. Later, Harry’s dad was sick. He was suffering from cancer and then he died.
